CITY TAKES ENGINE 305 OUT OF SERVICE
Since 2008, Surprise has grown in population by 50 percent, while 911 emergency calls have increased by 73 percent.
Despite record growth, increasing emergency calls, and recommendations by a third party consultant, City Officials take Engine 305 out of service, leaving a serious problem for both residents and first responders.
IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, EVERY SECOND COUNTS
When it comes to public safety, a few seconds can be the difference between life and death. By shutting down Engine 305, your firefighters will not have the resources necessary to keep up with the continued growth in the busiest part of our city.
The health and safety of our community is the priority of the Surprise Fire Fighters. The City of Surprise should make safety a priority as well.
